Claire Savage brings nearly 20 years of real estate experience to HOME, along with a genuine love for people, property, and the coastal community she proudly calls home. Since beginning her career in real estate in 2007, Claire has built a wealth of knowledge across both commercial and residential property, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the industry and the many moving parts behind a successful sale.

Born and raised in England, Claire moved to Christchurch when her two boys were young and chose to raise her family in Sumner — a place she has never wanted to leave. For Claire, Sumner is unlike anywhere else. Even amongst Christchurch’s coastal suburbs, she believes it has something truly unique: a strong sense of community, a relaxed coastal lifestyle, and a way of making people feel instantly at home.

After many years working as a licensed real estate agent, Claire decided to take a step back from the front line of selling and now works closely alongside Kieren Gray as his Licensed Assistant. In reality, her role reaches far beyond that. From running open homes and working directly with buyers, to supporting clients, managing the details, and lending a helping hand across the wider HOME team, Claire has quickly become a much-loved and invaluable part of the office.

Known for her warm, approachable nature and calm confidence, Claire has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and cared for. She loves working with people, takes pride in following through on her promises, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients feel supported, informed, and genuinely valued throughout the process.

Outside of real estate, nothing drives Claire more than the love she has for her children, her friends, and her much-loved dog, Lola. She is a natural host, a born foodie, and always ready to review the newest restaurant in Christchurch. Whether she is cooking for the people she loves, sharing a meal with friends, or planning her next adventure, Claire finds joy in connection, conversation, and good food.

Travel is one of Claire’s greatest passions and the key to her happiness. She loves exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and returning home with fresh inspiration — often with a new favourite dish or recipe in mind. But no matter where she goes, Sumner remains the place she is proud to call home.
