Michele brings precision, care, and calm efficiency to HOME, keeping the important details running smoothly behind the scenes. With years of experience in administration and accounts, along with running her own successful business, Michele brings structure, reliability, and a steady hand to every part of her role.

Born and raised in Christchurch, Michele is one of the few HOME team members not based in the coastal suburbs — but that certainly has not stopped her from becoming a loyal visitor. She can often be found walking her much-loved fur baby, Lexie, at the beach, their favourite place to unwind, enjoy the fresh sea air, and let their hair down.

Michele first joined HOME as maternity cover in the accounts role, but it quickly became clear she was far too good to let go. Since then, she has become a permanent fixture of the team, managing HOME’s accounts, compliance, and health and safety with the same quiet determination and care she brings to everything she does.

A critical thinker and natural problem-solver, Michele is never afraid to take on the nitty-gritty jobs that keep the wheels turning. She is the one who will chase you for receipts, make sure every detail is where it should be, and keep the office on track with calm confidence and good humour.

Beyond the numbers, Michele has also become the unofficial office babysitter whenever the HOME team’s children are in the office. The kids love sitting with Michele, creating a little havoc at her desk, and making the most of the calculators and stamps — which are always a big hit.

Outside of work, Michele’s life revolves around family, care, and connection. She is part of a large extended family and is often the person everyone can count on, always ready to lend a helping hand or share one of her famous baking treats. She loves spending time with her partner Al and Lexie, pottering in the garden, ticking off a to-do list, or heading out for a beach walk to recharge.

At the heart of it all, Michele is dependable, generous, and quietly determined. Whether she is balancing accounts, supporting the team, or making time for the people who matter most, she brings warmth, diligence, and genuine care to everything she does.
